Over the past few years, Dantone Creative has had the privilege of working alongside Main St., a local organization dedicated to supporting women impacted by breast cancer throughout Bucks County.
In Newtown, a powerful and unique campaign took shape. 12 men are selected each year, stepping forward to support the cause, each competing to raise funds and awareness in the fight against breast cancer.
My role was to photograph each of these men inside the local businesses and sponsors that stood behind them, creating portraits that were fun, unexpected, and full of personality. Moments of humor, confidence, and vulnerability all came together in a way that made the competition so much fun to be a part of.
Those images became a calendar, not just a collection of photos, but a representation of a community showing up for one another. A reminder that creativity can bring people together, spark conversation, and ultimately support something bigger than all of us. These calendars, after getting printed, are sold throughout the town to add another level of raising money for this charity.
This project is a reflection of what photography can do when it goes beyond visuals, when it tells stories, builds connections, and helps make an impact where it truly matters.
